WHAT ABOUT DEFENDER

Sorry for making another post, but after I finished the last I did a search in Norton looking for answers about MS Defender.

It seems I am reading mixed reviews, maybe someone can set me straight on running Defender with Comcast Norton AV??

Thanks in advance!

Hello Moogy,

Defender should be off (should have been turned off automatically during installation of the Norton product).

Re: WHAT ABOUT DEFENDER-NEW QUESTION

What I am wanting to know is: After Norton is download and installed, can defender be downloaded and used at the same time as Norton.

I have been told that  defender interferes with Norton.

Thank you again!!!!!!

Re: WHAT ABOUT DEFENDER-NEW QUESTION

Hello moogy

As Tim (Norton Employee, name in RED) has said in his post above, Defender should be turned off when using any Norton product. Defender should not be downloaded and used on the same computer as your Norton or Comcast Norton product. Thanks.

Re: WHAT ABOUT DEFENDER-NEW QUESTION

THANK YOU

It seemed like everywhere I read it would say "turn off defender while DOWNLOADING Norton" and then nothing else was said. So to me it sounds like "turn off defender and after Norton is downloaded turn it back on"

So I thank you very much for the clarification on this!!!!!
