Hi there, I have a pair of OCZ 60GB Vertex2 SSDs in RAID 0 and I'm trying to clone them to my new Samsung 830 Series 256GB SSD. I made sure the Samsung was unallocated before I started the cloning process, but everytime it hits 99%, I get the following errors:
-Error EC8F17B3: Cannot complete copying of (E:\) drive. --Cannot copy source drive to destination location. ---Error EBAB0013: A test that safeguards the integrity of the program failed unexpectedly. CHECK failed, FileAccess::SmeAccessor::FsParse: .\SmeAccessor.cpp(284): result.IsSuccess(). ---Cannot copy source drive to destination location. ----Error EBAB0013: A test that safeguards the integrity of the program failed unexpectedly. CHECK failed, FileAccess::SmeAccessor::FsParse: .\SmeAccessor.cpp(284): result.IsSuccess(). (UMI:V-0-3215-6067)
What am I doing wrong? I have a third HDD that I'm using that has Win7 and Ghost 15.0 SP1 installed to do the cloning process.
I took the liberty of running that SeaST I saw in another post.

I have Disk Management up and I notice that my new Samsung SSD is "offline (This disk is offline because it has a signature collision with another disk)"
When I first did this "copy my hard drive" it seemed to create another entry in the boot.ini.
Now it has done it a second time.
It seems to point to my newly created clone "Samsung 830"
So, do I make the Samsung online in Disk Management? When I first tried this, I did NOT make it online and just rebooted, which resulted in a BSoD when I tried to boot to Windows 7 during start up (not the second line in the boot.ini file)
I removed all the drives except for my 3rd one (WD) that has Ghost 15.0 SP1 installed. I deleted the second entry via msconfig so I could boot into Windows.
After I did that, I reinstalled my RAID array with the OCZs and that was able to boot into Windows.
I just want to copy my RAID 0 array's content to a larger, faster SSD!
I hope that makes sense!
Here is what Disk Management is reporting:

Since you have an additional drive available, I would just create a one time backup of the OCZ drives. Then shutdown the PC and take the OCZs out and put the Sammy in. Boot the Ghost SRD and restore the images to the Sammy. Don't forget the SRP! It is the active partition. Boot the PC at least one without the OCZs connected.
I'm not sure what happens going from RAID to no RAID. Are there driers involved that will need changed or is this simply done in the BIOS?
To get rid of that extra boot entry, just highlight it and click delete in msconfig.

Thanks for the reply. No, I don't need additonal drivers; just make a change in the BIOS. Should I delete the partition on the Samsung now or just let Norton do it when I boot with the SRD?
What do you mean "don't forget the SRP?"
Thanks again!

These are the options I've selected. Are these correct?
Drives and backup destinations: (F:\) to C:\oczbackup\F_Drive.v2i Options: Compression level: None [ ] Verify recovery points after creation [ ] Search engine support [X] Prepend computer name to backup data file names [ ] Save backup files to a unique subfolder Description: None Advanced options: Max file size: None [ ] Disable SmartSector copying [ ] Ignore bad sectors during copy [ ] Perform full VSS backup [ ] Use password Encryption level: None Command files: Run before snapshot: None Run after snapshot: None Run after recovery point creation: None Offsite Copy: Disabled Restore Anyware is not permitted for this recovery point.

SRP = System Reserved Partition.
You will notice it's a hidden 100MB partition that contains your boot files.
Make an image of the SRP and the windows partition (currently E).
Image both those partitions onto your temporary C drive (currently HD 2).
If you can make the images without any errors and they verify as good, we can remove the RAID drives and restore the images onto the new drive.

Ah, I thought so.
Well, I didn't do that (didn't read your post in time) and just copied my main partition. I had to reformat my Samsung since it was all goofy. Once I did that, I could restore just fine.
I restored my OCZ RAID partition, but it wouldn't boot (no surprise) but I was able to repair it via my Windows 7 boot image! Took two tries to get it fully fixed.
So everything worked out just fine. Thanks again for all your help, guys!
