Yes, change the cables, try Copying the Recovery partition again. If it fails try image/restore.
Edit... when you have a few spare minutes try this...
run diskpart from an Administrator's Command Prompt
list volume
select volume X (X is the number of the Win7 volume)
shrink querymax
exit
"querymax" will tell you how many MB can be removed from the Win7 partition by Diskpart in a shrink procedure. This is just a test. It doesn't do the shrink.

Hello again. I ran diskpart. It says: The max number of reclaimable bytes is: 445GB... I tried booting Ghost which worked but did not find a "clone" option. So i guess I will make an image now. I will read your previous messages for reference. I hope this will work because I have wasted so much time on this SSD. I don't want to resort to illegal means (if you know what I mean). Thank you.

Boot from the Ghost CD and click Recover My Computer.
View recovery points by Filename
Browse to your image
On the Drives to Recover screen click Edit and select the unallocated space on the SSD. You may have to delete a phantom drive

Primary partition
Check for file system errors ......
Set drive active (for booting OS)
Restore original disk signature
Restore master boot record
When completed boot into Win7 and try the Win7 copy.
Ok. Made a recovery image, saved it to original Win7 partition. Went to "recover my computer," set the options you told me to set. Now i'm waiting for it to finish. Do i restart my computer? Or do I also make an image for Win7 partition? What do I do next?
Recovery complete! At least that is what it says. I don't know if I should restart my computer ?! I will wait for your reply.
PS: I did not change sata ports or anything. I am hoping it will work without doing so.

Yes, restart into your Win 7. Delete the recovery image from the C: drive (we don't want to copy it) and run Copy Drive on the C: drive (Win7 partition). Let's see if it is too big.
Edit... I just saw your querymax result. I'd expect Ghost Copy Drive to fail but let's see.

I used these options for the Recovery partition NOT the Win7 partition (have not done the Win7 partition yet). Is that correct? Still waiting for your reply on what to do with the Win7 partition.

We posted at the same time. See my previous message. Try Copy Drive on the Win7 partition.

What options do I set for Win7 partition? Going to create a Win7 image now.

You can't create a Win7 image at present. Try Copy Drive.

I don't have a "Copy drive" option in Ghost's Boot menu

Sorry. Copy Drive is what you were doing from Windows. The OEM was successful but the Recovery failed.
