I can't believe this is so hard. I'm starting to get really irritated. I am going to bed. You have helped me so much. Thank you for everything.
Going to install Win7 tomorrow on my SSD by other means (I have had it).

Try the CD then....
Boot from a Win7 disc
On the Install Windows screen click Next
Repair your computer
Repair and restart
leave the Win7 disk in the tray
Boot from a Win7 disc again
On the Install Windows screen click Next
Repair your computer
dot in Use recovery tools....., Next
Startup Repair
It may say the repair failed
Finish
Restart
remove Win7 disk and boot the SSD.
Don't give up. We can do it.

Dave,
I've forgotten. How do you create the rescue DVD from a running Windows 7?

TheElder777,
You have a Windows Boot Manager error which should be fixable. The problem is in the Recovery partition with the booting files, not in the Win7 partition.
Dave will let you know how to create a rescue disc. If the instructions in Message #113 don't fix it I'm fairly confidant the following will.
Boot from the BootIt CD and select the Recovery partition. Click Delete. Don't put a tick in Clear Boot Sector and click Yes. Try to boot the SSD. You will get a "BOOTMGR is missing" error.
Boot from the Win7 rescue disc and repeat the instructions in Message #113. Booting files will be rebuit in the Win7 partition.
Good luck. Win7 should boot from the SSD.

Ok, this is my last attempt at this. I am waiting for dave on instructions on how to make a Win7 CD. Thanks again.
Would this be how to create a Win7 recovery disk?:

I found a Win7 rescue ISO in my computer. The file is 167 MB so I made a CD (not DVD).
I deleted my booting file partition (don't select the Wipe option). After seeing the BOOTMGR is missing error I booted from the CD. The procedure is much the same as I described above. A few minutes later Win7 booted.
Edit... I just saw your link. That looks good.

Ok. Let me get my hands on a CD first and I will give this a go. Hopefully it will work. Thanks
