Desktop.ini shortcut

It would be nice if you did not place an shortcut on the desktop for the Desktop.ini file. For the basic user it is clutter and doesn't need to be there. The user should not have to change files view to get rid of it. We have more important reasons for seeing  hidden files and folders.

Re: Desktop.ini shortcut

Hi

The Desktop.ini is placed on the desktop not because of the Norton. It is a system file created by the Operating System itself.

The below links will help you understand about desktop.ini
