Please could it be made whereby you can have Norton Automatic Update Option Off, but still recieve Pulse Updates (Option On).  Thanks!

red,     i don't know where to begin other than stating i sure do miss nis2011.  with nis2011, when the computer went into standy mode it took a click any key to bring it out.   i waited 6 months before i upgraded to nis2012(april 16) now it seems like my hard drive never gets a rest(norton always doing some kind of background task, live update runs every hour on the hour, nis2012 stops working(8504 error code) etc,etc,etc.  i've started turning my machine off when i go to bed so i and my hard drive can get some rest. we are both old but still working.    xpsp3,ie8,nis2012 but thinking about going back to nis2011.   just ranting a little but i like your idea.   thanks
