Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

Toolbar & Office 2010 64 bits support is most welcome. Waiting so long for fully support. Now that Adobe is finnaly working/having a 64 bits Flash player, it's step in the right direction.

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

Good idea. I also suggest update toolbar for coming soon IE9. I also suggest 64 bit Symantec software version on Norton Connect http://www.symantec.com/connect/idea/i-suggest-norton-software-windows-64-bit. Do not simply adjust the Norton Toolbar for 64 bits, you need to make Symantec software versions for 64 bit systems. I expect that new Norton 2012 products versions (NAV and NIS) will appear also in 64 bit version. 64 bit antivirus software are now offered, for example: BitDefender Internet Security 2011.

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

Come on Norton! Are you for real? Get with the program. I've been using your product for 12 years now. If I had realized this 64bit issue before I purchased NIS 2011, I'd have never done so. Rest assured, if this isn't addressed soon, my next purchase will be elsewhere. IE8 64bit support please.

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

I need this addon. I can't install a 32 bit version of internet explorer 9 on a windows 7 64 bit.

By the way. On firefox 4 it doesn't function either.

I have a 360 version 5

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

Just like all the above comments, i would like to see support for 64 bit IE, Firefox, etc and any other 64 bit application. A lot of people will have a Norton product installed not realising there is a huge gap in their system security if they use IE 64 bit. This needs to be addressed as soon as possible.

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

It's about time there was a patch to make this toolbar work with 64 bit IE. If McAfee can do it why cant you Norton. Do we have to switch to McAfee to get full confidence in 64 bit browsing protection???

I will also voice my support for 64-bit compatibility.  64-bit is the way of the future, and to not support the latest 64-bit enabled browsers just doesn't make any sense.  Please add this asap!

Re: Norton Toolbar needed for IE8 and IE9 64-bit

I really think it is time to wake up and smell the roses. The way of the future is 64-bit operating systems. Time is getting closer to becoming a larger used reality. Lets get going and start to lead the way and adapt full support for 64-bit operating systems. Meaning for all 64-bit browsers.
