Re: Phishing Firewall

Hi Eli

Welcome and thank you for your Suggestion. If you install a Norton Product, which also includes the Norton Toolbar. The Norton Toolbar offers the Identity safe protection along with antiphishing protection which Blocks fake Web sites from tricking you into entering your information. As soon as you visit a Fake/fraudulent website it blocks that website then and there and you'll get a notification about it.

I appreciate your innovative idea, Can you please differentiate the Antiphishing protection in the Norton Toolbar and the Phishing Firewall?

You can find the Benefits of having the Norton Toolbar in here.

In IE you can Disable the toolbar(View-->Toolars), but while disabling it'll give you the option to disable Identity protection and Intrusion prevention leave them  behind.

You can close the toolbar in Google chrome by clicking the 'X' in the top left corner of the toolbar.

In Firefox, goto view --> Toolbars --> Remove the check mark next to Norton Toolbar which will hide the toolbar and the components will be working in the background.
