With reference to:

* Compatibility issues of the Norton Toolbar in Firefox 4.0.

* No compatibility with Google Chrome.

* The possibility of these difficulties continuing or recurring with future browser upgrades.

I wonder if it would it be viable to remove the functions of the Norton Toolbar from the computer and make them server-based like WOT (Web Of Trust) and LastPass? Certainly, these programs have no difficulty in working with with new versions of the mentioned browsers. Maybe Norton could look into rolling these two programs in to one (which is what the current toolbar virtually does) and bring out something of their own that is server based, would work with different browsers and not break when browser upgrades are released.
