Dear Norton Team,
I have been using Norton IS for many years. I have an suggestion want to submit to Norton to improve your products better.
The LiveUpdate (the LiveUpdate run after Norton just be installed) takes a long time to download and complete. So, I suggest that setting an "Auto Restart" Option in the Norton LiveUpdate dialog (this Option may shown bottom in the dialog).
I think this Option may save time for people who take a rest while the LiveUpdate is running.

Hell not. Windows Update is bad enough that it restarts if I don't respond (I install all updates as soon as it come out to prevent it from restarting. I am unconfortable to turn off auto-checker). At the very least don't make it default. I like to be notified of a restart upon the next update.

Hello scarfy,
Thank you for your respond.
If you are using Windows 7 or more, Windows Update is set not to Auto Restart after downloading and installing updates. It requires user confirmation if want to restart or not. If users do not confirm, a Restart recommend will be displayed but it does not auto restart.
I mean Norton products should have a check box like "When LiveUpdate completed, the computer will be restart automatically" (of course user must check if they want to the restart automatically). It will save time if users do not available in the computer, as the first time download Norton updates is take many times you know.
Many greetings,
Tran Thanh Binh
