Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

Come on we need 64 bit support. Stop telling us that 32bit is the default. We need more native 64 bit programs for our 64 Bit OSes.

We should have had native 64 bit AV at least 5 years ago.

Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

I have to chime in with the need for 64bit toolbar, I live by my identity safe, so even tho adobe finally has gotten flash for 64bit, it's useless to me without my Norton stuff. :(

We need some love here Symantec!!

Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

With Adobe Flash and Java now fully supporting 64-bit browsers, now more than ever there is a need for full support for all major 64-bit browsers. This should really includes complete and full native 64-bit Windows support. There also needs to be full support for Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit. (Anti-Spam)

Windows 7 64-bit,  NIS 2012

  Microsoft Office 2010 64-bit

Microsoft Internet Explorer 32-bit (Not by choice)

Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

I know it's been acknowledged by Symantec, but is Symantec in the process of working on 64-bit browser support? I would really like to be able to use my 64-bit browsers more securely than I do now; I use the 64-bit browsers in a very limited amount because of the lack of support.

Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

And what about IE9 which is what I'm using? ETA on that? It's been out for a while now and has way less problems than IE8 which was a nightmare and I gave up using it and went to Firefox. IE9 is much more stable so I've been back to that and really need my identity safe.

Re: Supporting 64-bit browsers

I am disappointed that NIS 2012 doesn't yet support 64-bit browsers. I'd like to be able to have protection and use of my Identity Safe with IE9 64-bit.

This brings to mind a question; these days can you truthfully call your product a Security Suite if it doesn't include 64-bit support?
