Upgrade firewall

Create an option in the firewall that shows (live) what programs are on-line at any given time.

Thanks.

That is an interesting idea. How would you expect this information to be displayed? Would you want to see only those programs that are currently generating traffic, or programs that have connected to the Internet (I assume that this is only interesting for Internet traffic) within a period of time? I want to see both of them; then, wich prorgram what port using and how many connections that program has and this information must be easily accessible, for example from user interface in one click or from system tray.

Re: Upgrade firewall

and I would like to see the same feature as in Symantec's Endpoint Protection (see screenshot), and the possibility to end connections/close (kill) applications.

Re: Upgrade firewall

Comodo Internet Security has this feature too, very nicely and cleanly inplemented in terms of UI. This would be nice.

Re: Upgrade firewall

Just incase it will be a new feature it should be called Norton Firewall Insight (Just my own opinion)
