with the new release, i think it would be better if both the live update and the scan interface get replaced as well.. 

 

they clearly haven't changed

I actually like the live update interface in 2012.  I wouldn't be against them updating it, but only if it doesn't take time away from more important issues.  And of course, only if it looks good.  Wouldn't want to go backwards afterall.  :o)
