It's simple to me. No major rewrites.

I would like to see a perfectly polished NIS 2012 product, sans Activity Map and Idle Time Optimizer (previously mentioned.)
The product is so good already, why not just refine it to perfection. IMO, that's where Symantec should put it's resources.

So many things still remain... Bug fixes, GUI inconsistencies, Help facility, Reliability, Speed, Smaller footprint, some AI, etc.

It's a great product - how much more can you tinker with it? Seriously!

Imust say NIS 2012 is great in UI-speed -performance

1.please keep the same sidebar gadget compatible to windows8 in 2013 version

2.NIS should have a potential ad-blocker like 'Adguard' compatible with all browsers.

3.make NIS2013 to monitor all the running browsers like Kaspersky and VIPRE.

Best of luck for 2013 version development...I hope NIS 2013 will defeat all others in every reviews and will make its position as 1st in 'TOP TEN REVIEWS' site:http://www.toptenreviews.com/

with norton 2013 i like too see Support ending with all of windowXP RTM SP 1 SP2 and SP3 has for window vista gos i all so like too see supprot ending for window vista RTM and SP1 how evere if you want too run norton 2013 when it coms out you most have window vista SP2 and all other updateds in stalled 1st then you can in stall norton 2013 when it comes out

i hop the modes nos that some of the windows out there are old and its really time too start thinking about cuting back support on some of the older windows

Fully cloud based is not the way to go.

In my work, there are many times when have to use a PC while not connected to the internet.

I also have to copy data form USB flash drives on some of those occasions.

At those times I still want that database of malware signatures protecting me.

You have to think about all circumstances, not just your own.

Counter of remaining time to complete the scan.

I think, that it can be usefull option.

The ability to change the skins.

Mandatory white skin, because i hate black skin in NIS 2012.

Ability to disable smooth scrolling windows in NIS, because this methos work slow on netbooks, very slow.

I'd like to see full smartphone intergration, and include as part of the package smartphone protection. Even if that was a premium version that cost a little bit more it would be nice to be able to manage the smartphone from the pc. That includes the ability to block and wipe it, and/or track it via GPS.
