it would be nice if Norton 2013 and Norton 360 v7 scanned faster (much faster), because now in 2012 version and Norton 360 v6 scanning is very slow, much slower then avast

Hi Artem,

Quick scans run longer because they scan deeper than NIS11 and N360v5 which means that Full System Scans aren't required to run as often.

I am surprised you find the speed of scanning in Norton is slow.

I recently wanted to try some native 64-bit Security Suites.

Two that I tested were Mircrosoft Security Essentials (MSE) and Comodo Interent Security (64-bit).

Full system scan times for these suites were shocking.

MSE took 4 times as long as NIS 2012 and Comodo took 3 times as long.

Needless to say I was glad to reinstall NIS 2012 even though it is not 64-bit native.

One more, forgot to to suggest,   'Why not have return customers pay the same for a Norton product being renewed ?'  I payed $39.99 for 360 6.0 and would like to pay that again     This will help keep more customers....

   Or have a FREE version of ANTI-VIRUS with just a few missing  details

What I would like to see in norton 2013:

1. Removable Disk/Disk Management, as well as with pop up option to scan the disk when plugin to computer,

2. Progress Bar with percentage, when running manual scan.

3. Network Activity Diagram.

4. Fast Scaning, with improve SONAR, File Insight, New Technology for the Heuristic.

5. Improve for Anti Spam, for new version the email has clasify as spam now directly move to "Deleted Items" instead of move to "Junk Email", except of "Probably Spam" can move to "Junk Email", the reason is user don't take a time to hit twice the toolbar, when move to "Deleted Items" it's automatically remove when Outlook close.
