Anyone else having trouble with Security Update for Windows 7 (KB2698365)?

Download size: 1.1 MB

This one has failed to install twice.:smileymad: I'm currently downloading the "System Update Readiness Tool" in order to try and fix this. Very rare for me to have an issue with Windows Update, I hope this will fix the problem.

ETA: Well, whatever the problems was, that fixed it. Thankfully.:smileyvery-happy:

Re: 9 Microsoft Security Bulletins For July 10 2012

Hi killyourtv I have had the same thing happin a few times. When that happened I went to the mireosoft download center and downloaded the kb file from there it is some times a exe file and other times its a msi file or as I noted about Kb2698365 it downloades as a msu file. whitch I think stans for microsoft update file. I used to do this when I was on dialup I would get the list of updates from windows update and take a flash drive and go to a place with a high speed connection and download the kb numers that I needed and then come back to my computer and update that way and the updates would install that way.
