ADOBE has released a new flashplayer #11.3.300.262 for the Firefox crash problem. The version for Internet explorer is #11.3.300.257 as IE did not have the crash problem. As for download locations at this time you have to go to other download sites as adobe has not changed ther download links at this time.

Sure hope this cures the issue! Interestingly enough, I had no more crashes after disabling hardware acceleration in the previous version, so thanks again for that tip. I wonder if I should re-enable it now?

Hi Killyourtv for the most part the new flash player is working fine. But I can get fiefox13.01 to crash when I look at Office Depots sneak peek add for next week this weeks ad is fine so far this is the only problem so far. As for hardware acceration I turned it back on .

Right you are, ALF60! I was able to crash the plugin several times on the Office Depot site. I sent the crash reports, we'll see if they eventually get this resolved. I think I'll just leave the hardware acceleration off for now. I don't notice any difference either way.

Hi Killyourtv so far the Office Depot site is the only place that I have problems with. I have looked at the adobe forum and found that there are still some problems with firefox crashes with the new 11.3.300.262 update so we will see what happens now.

To stop the firefox13.01/adobe flash player#11.3.300.262 crashes do this type about:config in the firefox address toolbar note the warning pop up window and go to dom.ipc.plugin.enabled and toogle it to false this disables the firefox plugin container and stops the flash player crashes. NOTE if firefox crashes for another reason there will be no crash report to send to mozilla
