Should i get an antivirus program for my 32GB Ipod Touch or no, and if i should which one should i get? I just got an 32gb ipod touch 2 days ago and someone told me tht i should get a antivirus program on their so i dnt get a virus frm safari? can anyone help me out?

Welcome to Norton Community.

I am sorry to inform you that Norton does not have a security program compatible for Ipod - iOS.

Hopefully, in future we may develope a Security program for iOS.

You may check with Apple and see if there is any compatible and recommend security program for your Ipod.

There's no such thing as an antivirus for the iPod or iPhone. Though I think there's a few viruses for the iPhone/iPod, they are very rare and if do get one, make sure you preserve it cause its rarer than gold! Most of the viruses don't do anything too serious to your device but I think there's one that messes up the date and contacts and all that but no, antivirus for the iPhone/iPod is bull**bleep** and there's no such thing. Don't worry, I seriously doubt if you'll get any virus at all cause using Safari is my main purpose for my iPod and the I'm still alright now!

I have read that if an iPhone is jailbroken, it is much more susceptible to infection. Since there is no security program for iOS, extra caution is advised for those with jailbreaks.
