None. You can't and shouldn't use more than one security suite at the same time. Having more than one real-time protection like that gives you conflicts and less protection, not more.
The only other piece of security software I run in real time is Sandboxie. I run my browser sandboxed all the time.
Keep your Windows up to date and don't be logged in as administrator for normal computer usage. Create and use a limited user account to do everyday computer business.

Hi again timboyboy
Have you got your "trojan.agent.ck" issue resolved then ? The guys advised you on various other engines you could do a "suplemental scan " with ( Malwarebytes etc ) in your previous NIS board posting. Did it work out o/k ?
As Bombastus says....running more than one Security Suite is a "No-No " ! Don't get additional supplementary scanning engines confused with "Security Suites "! .....the suites are made up of multiple components that will conflict if installed with similar software !
By their very nature .....engines that run "real time " scans , will conflict with other software that also runs in this mode , and will do nothing to achieve the "close to 100% " that you are hoping for !
There are numerous ways to minimise the chances of malicious attacks . Well respected Security tools such as Nortons' various packages......and sensible configuration of your operating system is a important starting point not to br overlooked ....
Sandboxed browsers are popular ....Suplementary scanning by software that is known to be compatible with Norton (MBAM & SuperAntispyware ) are popular choices on the boards .......and most important of all ...Being careful where you click !
Sadly ...there is no 100% safe state achievable ! However ....using the advice the guys' have offered previously...you can go some way toward an acceptably safe environment !

The paid for version of Prevx runs in real-time and has been designed to run with the likes of Norton. Pop over to Prevx. com and have a read, you'll see what I'm talking about. Protection in layers is the only way to go, and I've been using Norton and Prevx for many years trouble and malware free. Malwarebytes is also worth considering, it has two versions like Prevx, the free version does not run in real-time but is handy for the occasional scan, the paid for version does run in real-time and has like Prevx been designed to run with Norton and friends, not advisable to run both Prevx paid and Malwarebytes Pro together however.

Security software is only one aspect of protecting your PC. Keeping your system and applications updated, properly configuring your browser to be secure, learning to avoid social engineering traps and understanding the other basics of keeping your PC from being an easy target are much more effective than piling on unnecessary extra software.

Hi timboyboy
The standard account can help protect your computer by stopping any unauthorized users from accessing your files and private data, and therefore making changes that could compromise your computer!
If anyone gained access to your PC who was not authorized ..they can have free rein over what changes and alterations they wish to make whilst your PC is running an Administration mode !
A standard account will not allow the same options and the wide range of changes that an "Administrator " account allows ....and is therefore more secure for everyday usage ..Hope this helps .

Not only will it prevent other users from installing things, but even if you are the only user, it is still very useful. If you are logged in as a standard user, a lot of malware can't install itself either, because it needs admin access to do so. So even if you were infected, chances are the malware wouldn't be able to install and run anyway.
The default settings should be fine for the normal user.
