uncommon internet protocols - understanding their risk and uses

Dear Tony,

  I would like to see some information on uncommon internet protocols.  A list of the ones that Norton Internet Security monitors would be nice.  Is there a link to tech references when specific and in-depth information is desired?  Not even college courses cover it.  How about Norton Certifications, lists of references to order to become certified?  Shouldn't Norton certification be of interest to others?

Hi ohernova,

 

If you click Configure[+} for the Uncommon Protocols setting in the Smart Firewall Advanced Settings the protocols are listed for you.
