I also disabled the Norton Confidental on my Chrome toolbar but found after a few days it still made it unstable I've now uninstalled the plug in and my Chrome is back to it's usual fast self as to be honest I don't find this plug in necessary as who logs into Facebook and places like that using this as it seems to just crash the browser the second it opens, hence my reason for removing it from Extensions.
