When you launch your email client and get your mail using IMAP, it doesn't actually download all your email messages. It downloads only the headers (From/To/Subject) and maybe a short snippet of the email (if configured).
Would it be at least possible to remove the email from senders that we have blocked? Or emails where the subject matter is offensive according to definition. Doing that and allowing other ports to be monitored would certainly solve the majority of the problems. Especially monitoring other ports causes many problems. I can set up AOL and GMail mail to be received via POP (although I prefer not to) but that doesn't solve the problem of the ports.
