I've never done over the top installation from cd before. If you have fast internet elsewhere, you could download the full nis11 version from http://www.Norton.com/nis11. The new product should pick up the old key immediately. After the old key expires, switch to the new key. To do that click on renew and in the box, enter the new key. To get the most out of your subscription, I recommend to use the old key until it expires and then switching to the new key. Please be away that the 366 days in the new key starts when the first computer activates. All subsequent use of the new key will pick up the days remaining you see in your first product. Also, if you are still within subscription, you can upgrade to the latest version (ie the 2012 version next year) for free Just go to http://www.Norton.com/nuc.
