Forgot to write my comments. The install file was 104MB and took almost 7 hours to download. My first Live Update is in progress and it is 72MB large. Should take another long whirk. Before I updated I tried the Safe Web on Google and Bing...NO ICONS still. I'm hoping the updates takes care of this but I'm not confident and am increasingly supsicious of the SuperAntiSpyware 5v as the cause. If the update dosen't solve it I'm going to uninstall SAS and retest NIS2012 Safe Web.

Did you have a problem with the icons on Google when you were using NIS 2011 and SAS? Do you have scripting blocked in your browser? I'm still using NIS 2011 and the free version of SAS with no problems and see the icons.. The problem may also be due to the ever happening changes that Google makes. Some times it takes Norton a little while to catch up with this. Btw, SAS shouldn't be a problem if you are using the free version of SAS.
