Hello Silverhawk,

 

This is actually the design of the software.

 

From the System Requirements link for Norton Internet Security 2009 :

 

Internet browsers (phishing protection):
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer® 6.0 (32-bit only) and later
  • Mozilla Firefox® 2.0 and later

 

 

The current version does not support 64-bit Internet Explorer.  If we add this feature, it will be in a future version of Norton Internet Security.
