Re: Norton Keychain Password

I'm running Max OSX 10.6.7. Comcast security recommended I install Norton Antivirus for Mac, which I did via their website.

In my Keychain there is now a Symantec Keychain which is locked. My Mac password does not open it, nor does my Comcast password. I did not set a password. Where did this one come from and how do I find out what it is? Thanks.

There is a specific Forum for Mac AV -- Norton for Mac -- so I'll ask for your message to be moved over there or better exposure. You won't lose sight of it because a link will be left here.

We will need to move you over to the MAC forum. We are not familiar with the inner workings of NAV for MAC.

This is a private keychain used by Symantec Mac products. It is normal and should not cause any issues.
