Ghost 14: EC8F17E6: Cannot enforce size and count quotas
I am getting this "Medium" Priority Warning.  This system houses an external drive that it and others use to store my Ghost images.  I can't find what to look for to correct this?

Hi gforeman,

Have you enabled the following options in Norton Ghost for the backup destination?

• Monitor disk space usage for backup storage

• Automatically optimize storage

These options are available under  Manage Backup Destination settings.

What version of Windows are you using?

What file system is the external drive?

Are you only seeing the warning in the event viewer?  What exactly are you doing when this warning occurs?  Is there a particular action you are trying to perform?

So, you're seeing an actual problem, but only receiving a warning notification because of configuring the email notifications.

What's the size of the backup destination drive?  Is it a NAS or USB drive?  For optimization, what quota do you have it set at?

How many other machines use this?  Do those use Ghost as well?  Are those configured to monitor and optimize as well?  What are their settings?  Which machine had Ghost installed and configured first?

The fact that this is a shared destination may be the reason for the warning, especially if you're monitoring already from another machine.
