Ghost v10 and copy hard drive trouble

I installed a larger HD as a slave drive and did a copy hard drive function. 4 hours later the copy was finished. I swapped the two drives around and tried to boot the PC. I received the following error message...Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware config problem. Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path & disk hardware.
Using win xp pro.
Should I have given the copy a drive letter when I copied? I selected none. I did copy the MBR and I selected "select drive active for booting". Both HDs are set to cable follow for master slave. All connections ok and PC booted ok when I swapped the drives back again.
Dell Dimension 8300. Any thoughts??
One other thing...when I restored the drives back to original configuration, "My Computer" doesn't show the slave drive, but the copy went ok and was completed.
