I am now looking to do this repair as suggested.
The V2iMount.sys file does not exist in any of my Norton driver folders (I am using a Win7 64bit pc so looking in the shared/drivers/win64/win64 - x64/ folder (hidden files shown).
I have searched the whole drive and it is not there at all.
What next?
