I have re-imaged the 120 gig "clone" now and all is well with it, works perfect until I try a "copy drive" again.

If you tell me exactly what to do before I try a "copy drive" to D: I will give it another go

I have just looked it up about a disk signature and it is a 4 byte identifier, that doesn't make much sense to me 'cos I haven't a clue how to change the identifier if it clashes.

Edit,   I think we are getting a bit closer to the root of this problem Brian.
