My child's laptop is not responding to me Initiating School Time

My son has an HP laptop running Windows 10. We have Norton Family Version 3.8.3.17. I'm trying to initiate school time on his laptop, from the Norton Family app on my phone. My app says it's initiated, but it doesn't show up on his laptop. It initiated just fine yesterday (although it did not block the website that I added to the list of restricted websites). Some days Norton Family functions great (and blocks what it should) other days it doesn't. Drives me crazy and I waste so much time trying to "fix" Norton each week! I have tried restarting his laptop, rebooting my phone, initiating school time from the website instead of the app.... nothing is working! And my internet is working just fine and is very fast, so that's not the issue. Meanwhile my son is not getting his math done while I am trying to resolve this issue! So frustrating, Norton!! Please help!!

We had a technical glitch with one of our backend services which caused the issue. It is resolved now. Could you check and revert back if you still experience the issue.

I am having the same issues on my step daughters laptop. Blocked websites are still accessible during school time.

Yes, School Time is working now but the other issues still remain.... Even though my daughter is on School Time, I added websites to the blocked list, (and they show up there when I check), but she can still access them!! What's the point then?!

Hi AmberH,
Based on our analysis we noticed that Microsoft Edge was used in the child's device.
Could you please confirm on which browser you observed this issue of website not getting blocked during school time?
Also please share us the screenshot captured while you are observing the issue in the browser on your child's device.
