I was blocked from accessing a website

I saw on the ConnectSafe forum that somebody was being blocked from www.filehorse.com   They still want to use it.  I DON'T, I don't even know how I got it.  Now I get three to four messages that popup from Microsoft Edge ( my browser is Firefox) during the day.  How do I stop that website from notifying me?  I would prefer to do it from Norton than to have to go to that site and get stuck with something else going wrong.
