VPN dropping and losing connection or other websites cannot connect. Absolute joke as I have to turn the VPN of to connect to home region websites and it seems there are a lot of people suffering this.

VPN dropping and losing connection or other websites cannot connect, says cannot find site.  Absolute joke as I have to turn the VPN of to connect to home region websites and it seems there are a lot of people suffering this.  It is not just about changing the region as for some sites you have to be identified as being in that region.  Come on Norton sort it out or I won't be renewing.  My Internet Provider has a VPN and Antivirus program as good as yours and I will go back to theirs and save £20.

I experience the same, started happening just over a week ago have not been able to get through properly to a norton agent yet, did once but then they couldn't connect to me and said I would be called back within 48 hours. That was 7 days ago. Currently vpn is off which is only way to stop continual turn off/on again to maintain connection. Have reinstalled norton, checked gateway settings, checked that drivers didn't need updating...all fine. Have other devices connecting through home wifi with no issue so very much point to norton

I have the same problem. My issue is:

1) i have connected Norton VPN normally.  Web broswer can go any website and video site normally (i.e.: Online TV)

2) For sometimes after (maybe one hour later), can't access to any site at all (or the live tv stop live feed)

3) I go see Norton VPN panel, which said is "connected" to VPN server

4) I checked my wifi is connected normally

5) I have to disconnect Norton VPN, then all website went back internet traffic immediately (without Norton VPN connected)

6) Then i connect back Norton VPN server again to continue my things

This really annoys me a hell lot!!!!!!!!!

Please fix this Norton

I have the same problem. I called tech support they took over my computer and did a few things and said everything was OK. It wasn't and I still have the same problem. Seems like a fundamental problem in the program. There are lots of similar threads. I try to add comments in the hope the stats look more damning and Norton have to look at this issue with greater urgency.  If they do not solve soon I am going to uninstall and buy another VPN.

...actually the support from the Norton tech didn't resolve the issue afterall. Back to square one. Will raise another ticket but if not able to be resolved then I think I'll look for another AV package

What did Norton do to break the VPN product.  Perhaps this is the first of the Russian cyberattacks.
