We noticed an issue earlier in the day and resolved it. Our system has been very smooth for months back to late January. Until I have a full rca I won’t know if this was a problem we have seen before.

noticed the system was working again, then it went through some restarts, and now working normal, for me anyway

The Ethereum DAG (directed acyclic graph) for the proof of work algorithm is updated every 30,000 blocks. During that time, the system may pause until the new one has been loaded. It generally happens every 100 hours and is usually not noticed. There are times when it may take longer than expected, and miners are paused.

yes I notice the reset all the time, the issue still remains once in awhile the rigs are mining fine but there is no gain in etherium share, the last time was more than 24 hours, the next time I notice will take pictures of it happening, thanks

I still have an issue. Miners appear to be running fine, however my mining rate is WAY on the low side. Prior to Friday, my average daily rate was a little under 0.008 ETH. From Friday around 19:30 until today as of this post at 12:41, I've seen no ETH transfers to my wallet (I usually, but not always, see two transfers in a 24 hour period), and my net gain is 0.0018 ETH.
Is this perhaps a corner-case to the issue that was previously resolved? Or something altogether different?

What is your current hash rate, and what is your GPU? Do you have more than one machine?
Also, note there are a lot of different factors for the share rates you see. The number of miners, the difficulty rate, and the Ethereum network usage all play a part in how many shares your GPU generates on average.

2 machines with dual EVGA RTX 3090s (current hash rate is between 220 and 230 MH/s per machine), one machine with one EVGA RTX 3080 (FHR) and one EVGA RTX 3090 (current hash rate is around 195 MH/s), and one that mines ~80 percent of the time which has an EVGA RTX 3090ti (current hash rate is ~120 MH/s).
I understand the variability aspect of mining, but ~1/20th (for round numbers) of an average daily rate for two and a half (approaching three) days? Something seems wrong.

We would have to have someone look a bit deeper into this. 4 machines, 6 cards, and a lot of variabilities to actually know "approximately" what should be expected. Can you send me a private message with your email so we can connect and get more details?

Happy to report that things have returned to a sense of normalcy as of yesterday afternoon(ish). Mining is delivering ETH at the anticipated rates.
Thanks to Matt and team for getting this resolved as quickly as they did. These are NOT simple systems they're dealing with.
