Anti Tracker on multiple chromes

I have 'Norton Security Ultra' and had to buy 'AntiTrack' separately, which i did via Chrome linked to a certain gmail account (1 of 3 I regularly use). When I view my other instances of Chrome, linked to other email accounts, I cannot see the AntiTracker extension. Does this mean that the other chrome instances (on the same laptop) are not protected by AntiTrack?

Note, that I have tried to install AntiTrack to the other Chromes, but it keeps reverting me back to the Chrome which is associated with the email that I have linked to Norton.

I'd like to think that all my emails and chrome instances are covered by a single purchase for this laptop, but that does not seem to be the case?

Thanks

By "other instances of Chrome".... you mean other Chrome Profiles?
Norton AntiTrack subscription may be linked to an Email account...same as Norton Security Ultra subscription is linked to an Email account.

Do you run Chrome Sync?
Have you tried with Chrome Sync disabled?

Let's hear from Community -

Caveat: I do not run Norton AntiTrack.

FWIW ~
Install Norton AntiTrack extension on your web browser

Re: Anti Tracker on multiple chromes

Thanks bjm_, in answer to your comments:

Yes, I have 3 Chrome profiles (which is what i meant by instances). Surely though, Norton protects the computer, no matter which profile I'm using, otherwise, it's useless?

I'm not sure what Chrome Sync is, but i'll look in to that.

I did try to find Norton AntiTrack via the other two profiles from each of their respective web stores (to see if i could upload it separately to each)... neither of them could locate the extension... it just wasn't available... I have no idea why not.

Thanks for trying... anybody else have any ideas?

Browser sync—what are the risks of turning it on?

Maybe, the AntiTrack activated app only talks to the AntiTrack extension in the Email associated Chrome Profile.  IDK
Maybe, Norton AntiTrack only satisfies the default browser Profile.  IDK

Norton AntiTrack is an app and browser extension that keeps your online activities and digital footprint private.
After installing the Norton AntiTrack app, you are prompted to install the Norton AntiTrack extensions on your browser.

Re: Anti Tracker on multiple chromes

@ChockDeeKap

as per Chat Support:

i would like to confirm that you can install antitrack in the default browser profile only .

the e-mail address does not matter here.

I would like to inform you that we will definitely add the feature for more profiles in our future updates soon.

So, as per Chat Support.
AntiTrack functions are limited to the default browser Profile.
Maybe, a future update will add AntiTrack functions for other Profiles.
Email account/s in other Profile/s does not matter.
AntiTrack extension only installs in the default browser Profile.

Re: Anti Tracker on multiple chromes

Hi bjm_ and thanks again for your support.

At least I now know why. I will be removing my subscription for this product. What's the use of bolting the door and leaving the windows open..! Very poor from Norton.

Even more annoying is that my 'default browser' is connected to an email that I only use for admin. My main browsers are connected to two other emails... so it's even less use than one might have initially thought...

Not sure if Norton staff read these threads, if you do: shameful... one customer lost and that includes stopping my main Norton product as well...

Cheers folks
