View or See Passwords WITHOUT going to another browser window

Hi,

When I go to log into a website, I want to see my stored password from Norton Password Manager - WITHOUT, going to another browser window.   This product (Pwd Manager) is sooOOOOo slow and sooOOoo frustrating. I was fast, easy and simple. It's none of these without really giving me a sense of protection.

Again - don't tell me to "CLICK" and go to another browser tab; that's NOT an acceptable solution. I want to see it right in the login window I'm at.

I have attached an image of a website login (my ID is blurred)...... but HOW can I easily see my password? YES, I want to SEE IT.

The login windows are controlled by the website you are trying to log into. If they don't want the password visible, there is no way to see it. Some websites do have a 'Show Password' button or link. But that would be less secure in case someone is looking over your shoulder when you log in.

Re: View or See Passwords WITHOUT going to another browser window

Hi,

There is a way to view the saved website's login password without opening new tab.

Please follow the below steps,

  • Browse to the login page of the website.
  • Click on Norton Password Manager extension icon , it will list the suggested logins for the specific web site.
  • If you don't see the Norton password manager icon , click on the puzzle icon and pin the Norton Password Manager icon
  • Click on the suggested login "Nespresso" tile (or) click on the three dots menu -> view detail menu
  • The login detail view will open , click on the show/hide password eye icon to view/hide the password

Thanks,

Uma
