Norton Secure VPN - Can Games track IPs - What do games see?

Hello, I'm in an MMORPG.

I am new to VPN concepts.  Can the game servers track my IP if Norton Secure VPN is active and ON?  Can they see the IP when i log on?

How does my secure VPN appear in their activity log?

Running Windows 7   Norton 360 Premium

Yes and no. The game server will log the IP address of the VPN server you are using, but it has no way to know your personal ISP provided IP. That is masked by the VPN

A couple of things to be aware of. Some websites block access to known VPN server IP addresses. And there can be some connection speed degradation due to the VPN overhead as your data is encrypted and decrypted leaving and returning to your computer.
