Error 8504,104

I keep getting error 8504,104 when trying to open Norton 360. tried all fixes as advised by service web page but they dont work. PLEASE HELP ME FIX THIS . Norton dont seem ant to help me. tried chat and and phone but that wont work allso.

What version of Windows are you using? 

You say you followed the instructions from a service web page. 

So to confirm, you

  1. Uninstalled any non Norton security product and restarted your computer. Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
  2. Downloaded and ran the Norton Removal and Reinstall Tool from    www.norton.com/nrnr  .   Use the Advanced Options > Remove Only and then restart the computer. Then log into your Norton Account and download and install a fresh copy of your Norton 360. 
  3. Run LiveUpdate manually a few times, restarting as necessary, until no updates are available? Then restart again.
