zeroaccess

Hello I noticed the other day my computer was being really slow and not working properly so after I updated all my drivers and windows (windows 10) norton found a security threat. I am quite worried about zero access since it is a rootkit. How can I guarantee it is actually removed?

Here is the scan logs of all my security risks, I know some of them are old but I just copied and pasted everything from the resolved risks.

Category: Resolved Security Risks
Date & Time,Risk,Activity,Status,Recommended Action,Activity
11/21/2015 11:33:33 PM,High,00008700.tmp (Trojan.Zeroaccess) detected by Virus scanner,Quarantined,Resolved - No Action Required,Threat Actions performed: 6
11/8/2015 4:07:24 AM,High,SAPE.Spigot.1 detected by Virus scanner,Quarantined,Resolved - No Action Required,Threat Actions performed: 1
5/24/2015 1:40:05 AM,High,Suspicious.Cloud.9 detected by Virus scanner,Quarantined,Resolved - No Action Required,Threat Actions performed: 1
5/24/2015 1:18:09 AM,High,Suspicious.Cloud.9 detected by Virus scanner,Quarantined,Resolved - No Action Required,Threat Actions performed: 1
5/7/2015 10:26:30 PM,Low,target.exe (OpenCandy) detected by Auto-Protect,Removed,Resolved - No Action Required,Threat Actions performed: 1

So any help would be nice to ensure that the rootkit is actually removed because I know they can be almost impossible to remove, thank you.

hi David

I would suggest visiting one of the sites listed in the thread linked below:

Choose one of the sites register and post your problem where a trained experienced volunteer will assist you with it's removal.

Re: zeroaccess

Hi, David. This is a user to user forum where we can help with product issues, but we are not trained in malware removal.

I suggest you go to one of the sites Michael listed, and stay with that expert until your computer is declared clean.

Do NOT try any self fixing.
