On MACbook Pro is a group called avsdef. Problem??

On MACbook Pro is a group called avsdef. Problem?? And also I get a message from Norton that there is a problem with Live Update. But everything seems well. "Virus and spywhere definitions are not up to date" is the message.

Security is red

Scans, LiveUpdate, Advanced and tools are green

Sorry to hear the issue. Could you please check date and time on your system is correct? If it is, please download the tool from the link below, unzip it, run the GatherSymantecInfo.command tool inside the folder GatherSymantecInfo. It will create a zip file on the desktop named SymantecInfo.zip. Could you please upload that file?

Re: On MACbook Pro is a group called avsdef. Problem??

The group avdefs is required for LiveUpdate to update definitions, so its existence is a good thing. It looks like LiveUpdate was able to obtain definitions fine and the latest were installed. All the log files look good.

Did you try restarting the machine after reboot or close and reopen the main UI? If possible, could you please provide me a screenshot of the UI with the problem?

Thank you,

Leenus
