Core in Bridged Mode. Core Not First Facing the Internet
I own the Norton Core router. I stopped using it for 2 reasons. 1. I was having frequent internet access interruptions 2. Not all the Ports on the Core router are stealthed. The ports on my Netgear router are stealthed. I have xfinity internet. I own my own modem. I own my own seperate router. I want to connect the core router in this manner. Incoming internet traffic goes from my Modem, to my Netgear Router, then to the Norton Core router. That way, all ports facing the internet will be stealthed by the Netgear router. All my local home network wifi and hard wired network connections will go through the Norton Core. The Netgear router DHCP will be set to off. And if necessary, the Netgear router can be put in AP mode. Any reason why this will not work? Any suggestions about how to implement it? thanks
