AntiSpam - option to block Top Domain Level (TDL)

Please ad an option to block Top Domain Level (TDL) in the AntiSpam filter.

I receive thousands of automatic generated spam emails from domains like .icu

Mr. Tail. What e-mail client are you using? I don't think any Norton product currently nor will ever offer that level of control over spam as most spam is generally filtered at the provider level or at least should be. They have the means to use blacklisting to perform those functions that aren't available at the end user level.

Edited: Usually blocking TLD's are done using the ISP Config while admin on a server. Its also a very tedious task as each entry has to be manually entered with some minor string variables for each domain.

Hy SoulAsylum, I use Outlook (Office 2019).

I would like only to have the option to use star as a generic domain with the TLD extension (Example: @*.icu) when I had an entry in the in the Blocked List.

Taken directly from Microsoft TechNet you have to add the domains to the blocked list on a case-by-case basis. Hope that helps.

Cheers

Re: AntiSpam - option to block Top Domain Level (TDL)

Now I have created a rules on Office that move the mail in the spam folder if the sender's address contain the TLD ".icu" but i will be easier if Norton AntiSpam would accept the format like on the below window.

Re: AntiSpam - option to block Top Domain Level (TDL)

Indeed it would be. Most A/V products are designed these days with a minimal impact on how the end user will be able to understand what the features mean/do, how to use them, and most likely whether most customers even know of or use those features. Hoping the team sees this suggestion and will take action as it is a great suggestion for the more advanced crowd.

Cheers
