How do I reconnect my bank with LifeLock

My bank was Disconnected and I found out the bank is starting a two step verification and major overhauls in their online banking. When I spoke to Norton Tech Support they were unable to help. Would an issue like this be resolved on its own by Norton once the banks overhauls are in place? I was able to key in the bank number but it no longer lists my individual accounts and still says that the bank was disconnected. Looks like all I have is the bank number and nothing else for Norton to search. I am using a Mac with the Chrome browser.

Reconnect your financial institution with LifeLock
The financial accounts that you connected to your account may get disconnected at any time due to technology complexities for several reasons. So, you need to ensure that your accounts stay updated and connected by visiting the portal or mobile app.  If your account gets disconnected, you can check the following to see if this scenario applies to your account:

  • If you have updated your login credentials (e.g., username/password) with your institution, you need to enter up-to-date login credentials in your account to allow us access to your financial accounts.

  • If there has been any update in your financial institution's website, you may need to login to the financial institution's site to address any new security requirements or changes in the login flow, such as an acceptance of new Terms and Conditions.

  • Sometimes financial institutions will not allow us to maintain access to accounts due to their own internal security measures, disconnecting after a period and prompting you to reconnect. We are unable to prevent this from occurring, as such security measures are at the discretion of financial institutions. If this happens, you will need to reconnect your account and re-establish the connection.

UPDATE OR RECONNECT YOUR BANK ACCOUNT

  1. Sign in to your account.

  2. Depending on your subscription, do one of the following:

    • If you see the My Norton page, click Monitored Info tab.

    • If you see the Member Portal page, click Manage Account tab.

  3. On the Financial accounts section, do the following:

    • Next to the account that you want to modify, click Update to enter your new login credentials.

    • Next to the account that got disconnected, click Reconnect to re-establish the connection.

By individual accounts I mean checking and savings. The account numbers are not shown, only the last four digits of the bank.
