A notice about Universal Control

All of a sudden I am getting a window labelled Norton 360 telling me "The computer (starts with fe80:...) is attempting to access Universal Control on your computer. Do you want to allow this connection?"

What does this mean and how should I resolve it?

Thnaks!

Re: A notice about Universal Control

I had the same issue, Universal Control is an Apple application that allows you to use your iPad as a 2nd monitor with keyboard/mouse support.

Here's an article explaining what it is and how to disable it if you don't want it.

Re: A notice about Universal Control

The number starting with fe80: in the "error" message that you are seeing is most likely the IPv6 address of an iPad on your local network that is trying to connect itself to use Universal Control.
