Norton Quick/Full Scans cause PC to restart.

Fresh Windows 7 Ultimate install.
Once the system is fully updated with the latest Windows updates for both windows and office I can no longer run a Quick Scan or a Full Scan as it causes the PC to restart without scanning a single file in the scan count. I can still scan individual files or folders though. Please help.

Hello, is your Norton product updated to version 22.22.4.11 ? This is an older screenshot however you can open your main Norton user interface, go to the top right and click "Help". In the new dialog click "About" and the next dialog will show your current installed version as shown below. If you aren't on the latest version run live updates and restart the device, then recheck scans.
