Norton doesn't really have an Antispam feature. Misleads customers by describing the features of the program. On page:
https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v115546062
admits that Antispam only works on WIN 7 and ports without SSL encryption. It's like selling a car with inner tubes and a carburetor.
I quote:
"NORTON ANTISPAM COMPATIBILITY WITH WINDOWS MAIL
Norton AntiSpam is compatible with Windows Mail on Windows Vista and Windows 7.
Windows Mail app on Windows 10 is currently not supported. We are working to restore this feature in an upcoming release.
NORTON ANTISPAM SUPPORTED PROTOCOLS AND PORTS
- Only POP3 and SMTP protocol is supported.
- POP3 with SSL is not supported.
- IMAP & Exchange accounts are not supported.
- If email client is configured in ports other than default ports 110, then the new port needs to be added to protected ports. "
The date of this article is 03/31/2022 This is the first and last time I have used Norton. First of all, I hate when somebody cheats me, and secondly, it's a shame to sell such trash.
