Refund of early renewal of annual subscription

I have been charged $149.99 (Invoice ID AP1414120319-1) by NortonLifeLock Singapore Pte. Ltd for an automatic payment which I did not request. My annual renewal date is three months away on 9/11/2022 and should be from Norton Australia. I request a refund and an explanation as to how and why this happened.

Other comments on Norton Community Notice board say this is a recurring problem and a rip off by Norton.

Re: Refund of early renewal of annual subscription

Has the money been taken from your account or did you just receive the invoice by email?

If an email, be sure this is a genuine Norton email by checking the sender's email address against this information. Is this email from Norton legitimate?   There are a lot of scam emails being sent out pretending to be from large companies such as Norton, McAfee and Microsoft. They try to get you to call a number to arrange a refund, but in fact, if you give them your banking information they actually withdraw money. I recently got an email from 'McAfee' saying my subscription has expired. I have never had a McAfee product on any of my systems.
