How to get "My Norton" launch view back

When I installed "Norton 360 for gamers", I had the default launch view "My Norton".

I made the mistake and changed it to "classic view".

Now, I can't change it back to "My Norton" again. I can't find it anywhere from the settings.

It used to be on the button next to clock, I right clicked it and it gave me the option to open "My Norton", but no more. It is gone from the list.

Also I checked every possible setting within the program itself, and found no option like that.

Any ideas?

Please run Norton LiveUpdate until no updates + Restart (not Shut down) machine.  Repeat. 

Sorry, I've not touched Norton 360 for Gamers.

I don't know if the following applies to Norton 360 for Gamers.  
Please post back progress. 

Are you launching Classic view and want to switch to or open My Norton view?
Are you launching My Norton view and want to switch to or open Classic view?

Do you see Norton tray icon?
Do you see Open My Norton from tray icon? 
Do you see Open Norton 360 from tray icon?

Switch between the My Norton window/view and Classic view/window

Norton 360 Security/360 offers two views.  My Norton view & Classic view. 
You may launch My Norton or Classic view.  You may call My Norton view or Norton 360 aka Classic view from tray icon.  Are you using Windows Admin user account? 

From Norton tray icon ->
Open My Norton for My Norton view 
Open Norton 360 for Classic view

Note:
Settings from tray icon opens My Norton Settings.
Settings from Classic view opens Norton 360 Settings

Hmm.... I find that page a bit confusing because:

It says "Switch to the classic view is not available on Norton 360 for Gamers." 

-  Yet I managed to switch it, it gave me the option. But now it just doesn't give me any options to switch back from classic.

    If you see the Norton classic window, click My Norton.

I have no such option. When I open it now, there is no "My Norton" anywhere, I've checked every menu, every setting, everything.

It is completely gone. Even from the taskbar button view, where it used to be.

For me it does not say "Open My Norton". Instead it says "Open Norton 360 for Gamers".

So I can't even access VPN, or some other settings.

Ah, I see your second reply now.

That picture of "Settings page".

Mine looks different.

I have Antivirus, Firewall, Antispam, Task Scheduling, Adminstrative settings, Backup settings, and Exploit prevention.

But I do not have "Launch view". Never had it there, not even before I accidentally switched to classic.

Immediately after the installation I had "My Norton" open, then I switched to classic, and never seen it since.

If so, I find it odd because now I can't even access VPN or some other features. So I am basically paying for subscription of something that I can only use partially. And if it let me switch from My Norton - Classic, why won't it let me switch back. This has to be a bug?

To be honest I can't  remember. Because I switched to classic view pretty early after installing it originally.

I will try to reinstall it.

Not a big deal actually, was just originally wondering if I can fix it without that.

Pretty odd, though. That I need to reinstall it for this, seems like a product bug. Some Norton developer could check it out - wink wink :)

I'm trying to learn from Chat Support how Norton 360 for Gamers may switch between My Norton & Classic views.   

Edit: 

Well, I went 10 rounds with Norton Chat Support and got nowhere.
Chat Support wants access to the device with Norton 360 for Gamers and then Chat session abruptly ended.

Took me a while to be able to reply.

Yes. "Open Norton 360 for Gamers" from tray button opens this:

Also, if I click "More Norton", it opens a page with 4 options: "Password Manager", "Add devices", "Family" and "Manage".

If I click "Manage", absolutely nothing happens. So I don't know what's the deal with that.

I will just reinstall it now, after this message. So the matter is no longer "relevant". I will remember not to switch the view anymore, so hopefully there won't be problems anymore.

EDIT: Reinstalled and all is well. Now I also have the option to open "My Norton" on my taskbar menu.

So, your Norton 360 for Gamers has "More Norton" tile ... not "My Norton" tile?

I'll briefly see "More Norton".... then "My Norton".

As requested, here is how my tray button looks after reinstall:

And now it changed that "More Norton" to "My Norton":

Clicking that: Before reinstall it opened a page with 4 different options. Now it just opens "My Norton" default view which allows me to turn on VPN etc.

It seems like a different product after reinstall !  I just can't understand why is there such a difference between installation #1 and #2 ?

Weird.

I installed it exactly the same way both times, logged in to my Norton page, and added it to this device. Double clicked on the installer it gave me there. That's it.

Edit: Now I even have "Launch view" selector on my "settings" page !  Before reinstall it was not there.
