I have an existing Norton 360 Deluxe subscription for up to 5 devices. I'm trying to add a new device, I follow the instructions, but I am being requested to pay for a new subscription when it should not be chargeable. Can anyone help, please?

Hello Stuart. IF, you still have at least one license available on your subscription. You can follow this article to accomplish the install: https://support.norton.com/sp/en/us/home/current/solutions/v101015745

Simply log into your Norton account on the computer you want to install Norton on. Download your product directly from within your Norton account and subscription. In the subscription header please locate "download" and click it. On the next screen select "Agree and Download". The installer file will be saved to your downloads folder. You can run it from there and install your product.

I just updated my 360 on my laptop and can not install it on my iphone because my iphone can not be updated to ios14.x. My iphone is a iphone 6 and is at 12.5.6 and can't be updated any higher. I've always had Norton on my iphone and can no longer put Norton on it because of not being able to update my iphone. Does Norton have a fix for this?

There is nothing to fix, and there is no work around.
Norton only supports the current and two previous iOS versions. So as you note, support is only for iOS 14, 15, and 16. If you have Norton on your earlier device already, you can continue to use that, but you will not get any updates. And if you uninstall for any reason, you cannot install again.
FYI
There is no malware protection in Norton 360 on an iOS device. See this article from howtogeek . com for an explanation of why it is not necessary.

thanks for the info...because I can't update my iphone I figured I can't use the Norton...in the Norton stuff I've been reading it says the iphone has to be ios14.x or greater but I was thinking there was a work around, but no-go!
there's a few things that I can no longer do with my iphone 6plus...typical with apple/iphone, they want you to make them even richer than they're already by making changes so you have to buy a new one every few years.

I hear you. I had an iPhone 6s and was no longer able to have the latest 360 versions on that when iOS 16 was released. I moved up to a SE 2022.
