Is PM Notes still limited to 5,000 characters? Why?

I use the PM Notes for all of my security and password information.  When entering text I've been coming up against a limit in which no text is accepted.  It seems to be at about 5,000 characters and spaces.  Why?  Can't that be increased?

I use the notes also but only for a small amount of data so my situation is not the same as yours.

But I would assume there has to be some limit to the length so Norton has put in 5000 as the maximum number of characters. I am not sure there is any other solution to offer but maybe you could post this in the product suggestion area for Norton to consider.
